I have been in the educational system since 1996-YES for over 25 years! Time flies when you are having FUN! My positions have varied from teacher assistant to assistant principal. I am truly passionate about teaching and learning!
Building positive relationships through traveling, exploring and sharing the love of reading, is why I am a member of the Read & Ride leadership team! Working collaboratively with James, Joe and the other members of our organization, gives me purpose and allows me the privilege to assist our youth in becoming life long learners, readers and leaders!
I moved to Tampa, Florida from Newark, New Jersey in 2007. I worked at various schools in Newark, New Jersey from 1996 to 2007. I met James Bailey at Dr. E. Alma Flagg in 1998. We share a common vision-providing rich learning opportunities for our youth!
I will be working with the team remotely, from Tampa, Florida. I am a single mom of one amazing son, Matthew, a 10-year-old, HIGH energy young man who keeps me young and on my toes! He loves reading and riding to new adventures and is my main source of inspiration and motivation!
As a member of the Read & Ride organization, I am bringing H.O.P.E. - HONESTY, OPEN-MINDEDNESS, PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS & ENGAGEMENT!
